  This small corner shop has been touted as one of the best in Piraeus for souvlaki. They offer just one combination: two beef patties in a pita with fresh tomato, onion, tomato sauce and a smidgen of fresh parsley. It is indeed old-style but not sure if it is worth the wait. Because indeed the patties are cooked to order, so wait you must. I found the pita was too soft and spongy for my preference, the fresh tomato admittedly off season in December and not adding any punch. The sauce is supposed to be spicy, however I did not find that to be the case. The meat patty too could do with some additional salt or pepper. In general the flavors are fresh and clean but lacking that special oomph to make you want to have more. A note on the size: I observed some solo customers order and consume 5 pita wraps on their own. I could easily manage 3 or more myself, but past one pita I did not care to eat a second as the overall flavor and texture didn't excite me. In conclusion, try at least one for the different approach to mainstream souvlaki, and if it's to your liking, order more. But also grab a beer as you'll need to be patient for the wait.

  Really good mini bifteki/kebab shop in Athens. The pitas are a bit small but reasonably priced so you can grab 2 or 3 depending how hungry you are. They did have a very unique taste and the pitas were super soft and fresh so this place does live up to the hype so I definitely would visit if you’re in the vicinity.

  Authentic local spot serving biftekia style meat in pita. Very tasty and well spiced. Expect a 20 minute wait but definitely worth it. Sit with the locals and enjoy!

  This is our favorite place when we want a quick bite in Piraeus. They only sell beef kebab with pita and they have various beer options including some great local alternatives. The food is always very delicious with fresh ingredients and super fluffy pita. There is a small semi-closed seating area at the outside and the place is almost always busy. However since people come, eat and leave quickly, it’s easy to find a place to sit. The staff is also very polite and helpful.

  Best thing i’ve eaten in athens, and i have tried some high end and well reviewed restaurants in plaka and psirri. It may not look like much, but it’s amazing!! Simple fresh perfection! Place was full of locals, no other tourists except me ☺️
