About Kleftiko
Kleftiko or Thalassina Meteora, as it is called, is the most impressive place in Milos and the most famous natural site of the island. Its picture has made the world tour. It is located in the southwest part of Milos. Huge bulks of white rocks rise in the middle of the sea and create an extraordinary scenery. These rocks have a semicircular shape and in close distance from the shore make a small lake. The name Kleftiko is due to the fact that in these rocks pirate ships were hidden. In fact in these rocks are saved some carven bitts from their ships. You can reach Kleftiko by boats that tour around the island from the port of Adamantas.
