In the south point of the island is located the small coastal settlement Manganari known for its outstanding beach. It's one of the most famous beaches in the island, while during the summer period in the homonym cove anchor a lot of celebrities with their yachts.
This untold beauty of the endless beach is combined from five consequent beaches and small gulfs. Tris Klisies, Kalamos, Plakes and Louka. Each one of them has its special feature and is ideal for calming away from the cosmopolitan beaches.
In Maganari is created an endless golden shore that every visitor can't anything else but to love it. It is not accidental that in Manganari was shot the movie "Infinite Blue".
During your stay there don't forget to visit the byzantine monastery of Saint Ioannis near the beach of Kalamos.
