Sykia is a stunning, lush village in the Corinthia region, part of the municipality of Xylokastro. Located 32 km from Corinth, it is a favorite destination for holidaymakers, boasting a beautiful beach that attracts visitors from near and far.
The village of Sykia is historically linked to the poet Konstantinos Karyotakis, who maintained a summer residence in the area and spent many summers there. It was also a retreat for the poet Angelos Sikelianos, whose villa welcomed numerous famous personalities, including Nikos Kazantzakis, Katina Paxinou, Alexis Minotis, Marika Kotopouli, and others.
