 Helliniko

The village of Elliniko is located 8 km from Stemnitsa, on the road connecting Stemnitsa with Karytaina. It is built on a semi-mountainous area at an altitude of 712 m, on a lush green hill, offering views over the Megalopolis plain. Elliniko belongs to the municipality of Trikolones and was formerly known as Moulatsi.
Near the village lies the famous Lousios Gorge, making it an ideal starting point for nature trails and outdoor exploration in the surrounding area.
Elliniko features a large modern guesthouse, donated by the local association “Ellinikon.” Around the village square, visitors will find traditional cafés and tavernas, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the local atmosphere.
Just 6 km from Elliniko is Ancient Gortyna, as well as the starting point of the restored trails of the Lousios Gorge, making the area a haven for hikers and nature enthusiasts.
