The picturesque town of Agios Andreas is located on the road to Leonidio, just 6 km from Astros. It is built on the slopes of a hill, next to a fertile olive-covered plain, and close to the sea.
The village is characterized by its beautiful stone houses, many of which are well preserved. The heart of Agios Andreas beats at its central square, where visitors can enjoy the traditional cafés and hear the older locals speaking the Tsakonian dialect.
Just 3 km from the village lies Agios Andreas Beach, with its charming little harbor. The area offers stunning views and a clean, inviting shoreline. Nearby, there are also ruins of a Cyclopean wall, which archaeologists believe belonged to the ancient city of Anthene.
