Xylokastro is another beautiful coastal town in Corinthia that attracts significant tourist activity. Located 34 km northwest of Corinth, it is part of the region¢s popular seaside destinations and offers a peaceful retreat for visitors.
Beyond its stunning beaches, perfect for relaxation and water sports, a unique experience is wandering through its charming streets lined with dense pine trees. While exploring the town, it is worth visiting the Church of Agios Vlasios, built in 1908 and adorned with significant frescoes, as well as the Church of Agios Gerasimos, which features mosaics by E. Voilas.
Xylokastro is also home to the breathtaking “O Peykias” forest, one of only seven aesthetic forests in Greece, offering visitors a serene natural escape.
