Megas gialos

The small coastal settlement Megas Gialos has evolved to a popular tourist resort of the past years. It is in the south part of the island, 12km from Ermoupoli. It has a dreamy beach with an endless golden shore and trees coming out of the sand and give their shadow to visitors. The blue green, shallow waters, safe, are ideal for swimming and water sports.
You can also visit the adjacent beach of Ambela, with a small protected from the winds, cove.
