About Agiokampos
Agiokampos is the seaside port of Agia, located on the eastern coast of the Larissa region in a setting blessed with unique natural beauty. It is famous for its stunning beach, which every summer attracts thousands of visitors.
The area of Agiokampos serves as the coastal extension of the village Skiti and administratively belongs to the Municipality of Melivoia. Its beach, together with the beaches of Velika and Sotiritsa, stretches for 14 km and represents the most popular seaside destinations in the Larissa region.
Agiokampos, 48 km from the city of Larissa, extends from the castle of Polydendri to Cape Dermata near Velika and includes the largest portion of Larissa's coastline.
The remarkable combination of mountains and sea along this coastal area impresses every visitor. The lush landscapes, significant monuments, and expansive sandy beaches create scenes of unique natural beauty.
The golden lace-like coastline-14 km long-stretching from Velika and Sotiritsa to Agiokampos, with the crystal-clear waters of the Aegean Sea, natural harbors with pristine beaches, and well-organized seaside facilities, make it a major attraction for tourists.
