The mountainous village of Evrostini is built in a breathtaking location between Mount Chelidorea and the Evrostini plateau. The journey to the village is truly spectacular, offering stunning views as it passes through the region¢s beautiful pine forests and olive groves. Equally impressive is the panoramic view of the Corinthian Gulf.
During your visit to this charming village, be sure to explore the famous Mylos Stream, a natural ravine featuring small trout-filled ponds, waterfalls, and wooden footbridges, as well as the Zacholi Plateau, home to a dense black pine forest.
At the entrance of the village stands the imposing Church of Agios Georgios, dating back to 1811. Its most striking architectural features include seventeen domes, traditional fountains, and seven cypress trees adorning the courtyard. Additionally, the Byzantine churches of Panagia ton Katafygion and Agia Paraskevi are well worth visiting, impressing visitors with their remarkable architectural design.
