Antimahia is built in the center of the island. It is 23km from the town. It is a beautiful village with long history. It is of great tourist interest as very close to it is the homonym venetian castle. The castle�s walls are saved in a good condition, while in its interior are saved two old churches, that of Saint Paraskevi and of Saint Nikolaos.
Antimahias� residents distinguish for their faith to traditional mores. When visiting the folkloric museum of the village, roofed under a house in Antimahia, you will get information for the culture and the way that people used to live.
