The National Ski Center of Vasilitsa is one of the most famous in north Greece. It is situated in a magnificent location, in the center of Pindos mountain chain and more specifically on the west side of Grevena. It is 45km far from the town of Grevena and 185km from Thessaloniki. The road to the ski center is very good. Everywhere around it you will see beautiful landscapes, as the region is verdurous of pine trees, firs and beeches.
This ski center was created in the middle of the ‘70’s by the members of the Ski Mountaineering Club in Grevena and it is located in a 1600 – 2113m height. Since 1991, the center has come to the jurisdiction of the General Athleticism Chancellery. It is worth mentioning that it gets better and better every year providing high quality services.

The National Ski Center of Vasilitsa, has 18 ski runs. There are 5 runs for beginners, 9 for starters and 4 for experienced skiers. Two of them complete the Olympic specifications.
The visitors will find 7 lifts, 2 of which are funicular and 5 trailing railways.
For the lovers of snowboard, there are all the appropriate infrastructures and equipment.
Various events are organized such as ski races, snowraft races, skill shows, etc.

In Vasilitsa you will also find a welcome building in a 1760m height. A 35-person capacity chalet is at the central room. A restaurant, a patisserie and a bar are available for the guests, as and a mountaineering refuge of 60-person capacity.
