Lemnos

Lemnos is a beautiful island that presents archaeological and natural interest. The island's physiognomy has been determined by the two volcanoes, whose activity in ancient times marked the island's fate.

Lemnos has an area of 477 km² and approximately 16,000 permanent residents. The island belongs administratively to the Lesvos prefecture and is located northwest of Mytilene. It has regular ferry connections with the ports of Piraeus, Thessaloniki, Mytilene, and Chios.
It also has an airport from and to which daily flights are operated that connect the island with all major cities and many islands.

Thanks to its significant history, the important archaeological sites, the historical monuments and the monasteries it has, it attracts a large number of visitors.
