Elatochori Ski Center is located on the northeastern side of the Pieria Mountains, at the position "Papa Horafi," at an altitude of 1,450 m. It is situated in a privileged location with a magnificent view of Mount Olympus and the Aliakmonas River. It is only 8 km from the picturesque village of Elatochori, 36 km from Katerini, and 474 km from Athens.
Although it is a relatively new ski center, it has become popular among winter sports enthusiasts, who flock to its slopes. This is due both to the center's well-developed infrastructure and to the beautiful nature that surrounds it.
The facilities of the Ski Center include 6 slopes with varying elevation differences and different levels of difficulty, so that both experienced and demanding skiers, as well as beginners trying their abilities in the most popular winter sport, are satisfied. There is also a snowboard slope and a sledding track. The total length of the slopes and the network of snow corridors connecting them exceeds 10,000 meters.
At the base of the Ski Center there is a new two-story chalet, distinguished by its modern design, which harmonizes with the environment. There are also shops for the sale and rental of ski equipment and supplies, as well as a ski school.
It is worth mentioning that the ski center also operates a fully equipped medical station for first aid, with a permanent doctor on a daily basis.
